About the Festival

About the Front Range Fantasy Festival

The Front Range Fantasy Festival is a nonprofit celebration of imagination made real.

Inspired by stories, music, movement, and community, we create immersive fantasy experiences through interactive markets, live performances, quests, dance, and storytelling. We believe fantasy is not something to outgrow — it is something to step into.

Our mission is simple and bold: Fantasy is for everyone.

We collaborate with local artists, performers, vendors, and volunteers to build living stories shaped by the people who attend them. Whether you arrive in full costume or everyday clothes, you are welcome here.

Come explore, create, and belong.
Come live the magic with us.

The Fantasy Market is a lively gathering of artisans, makers, and dreamers offering handcrafted goods inspired by fantasy, folklore, and imagination. Guests can browse unique art, books, costumes, jewelry, décor, and curiosities while interacting with performers, discovering hidden quests, and earning tokens along the way.

More than a marketplace, the Fantasy Market is part of the story — a place to wander, connect, and let magic lead the way.

The Fantasy Ball is an immersive evening of music, dance, and storytelling where guests step fully into the world of the festival. Set within an enchanted ballroom, the night features live performances, character interactions, guided dances, and unfolding story moments that invite guests to become part of the tale.

Whether you dance all night or simply take in the magic, the Fantasy Ball is a celebration of wonder, connection, and shared imagination.

Introducing
Pop-Up Events

Our pop-up events are small moments of magic scattered throughout the year. These free, community-centered gatherings invite guests to step into the world of the Front Range Fantasy Festival through themed dance socials, quests, workshops, performances, and cozy seasonal celebrations.

While there is no cost to attend, a suggested donation helps support our nonprofit mission and allows us to continue creating accessible, imaginative experiences for all.

Designed to be welcoming, low-pressure, and joyful, pop-ups are a chance to connect, explore, and play — whether you’re discovering the festival for the first time or returning to a world you already love.

Fairy house builders may bring and set up their entries at:

  • Cheyenne Fantasy Market: Friday, September 18, 2026, at 6:00 PM

  • Loveland Fantasy Market: Friday, September 25, 2026, at 6:00 PM

Participants are responsible for transporting, setting up, and removing their own fairy houses. The Front Range Fantasy Festival is unable to transport or store entries between events.

Builders who wish to display at both locations are welcome to do so, provided they transport and install their entries at each event.

Participation in the September display program is entirely optional and is separate from the competition. We encourage builders to help bring the Fairy Vale to life by sharing their creativity with festival guests!

THE SHATTERED
MIRROR CAMPAIGN
Fundraising Quest

May - June 2026

The mirror is broken—but the magic is still there.

The Shattered Mirror Campaign is a community-driven fundraiser supporting the Front Range Fantasy Festival and its mission: Fantasy is for everyone.

Each donation restores a fragment of the Magic Mirror—funding immersive sets, performers, and accessible community experiences. Together, we bring the full vision back into focus.

From May through June, the story unfolds:

  • Sundays: A new riddle is revealed

  • Saturdays: The answer is shared, and the Magic Mirror is updated with newly restored shards

Follow along, solve the riddles, and help rebuild the mirror—one piece at a time.

Every fragment brings the picture into focus.

RIDDLE

I hold no voice, yet answers I keep,
In silvered silence, my secrets run deep.

I show you truth, though not always kind,
A window of glass, yet I see your mind.

Shattered I lie, in pieces apart—
Restore me whole, and I’ll reveal your heart.

What am I?
