Dates Announced, Big Plans Ahead, and a Little Website Magic in Progress
We’re excited to share some important updates as the Front Range Fantasy Festival continues to grow, evolve, and take root across the Front Range.
Over the past year, this project has transformed from a single magical idea into a living, breathing community of artists, performers, volunteers, families, readers, gamers, and dreamers. As we step into our next chapter, we’re thrilled to officially announce our 2026 festival dates and give you a glimpse of what’s ahead.
✨ Save the Dates: Front Range Fantasy Festival 2026
We will be hosting two full festival weekends in 2026:
Cheyenne, Wyoming — September 19, 2026
Loveland, Colorado — September 26, 2026
Each festival weekend will feature a full day and evening of immersive programming, including a fantasy market, live performances, interactive quests, dance instruction, sword-fighting demonstrations, signature installations like the Armory and Magic Mirror, and our beloved evening Fantasy Ball.
These weekends are the culmination of something even bigger…
🌿 Year-Long Pop-Up Events
Throughout 2026, we’ll be hosting monthly pop-up events in both Cheyenne and Loveland. These smaller, community-centered gatherings include dance socials, interactive quests, arts workshops, seasonal celebrations, and family-friendly programming.
Pop-ups allow us to stay connected year-round, support local creatives, and make fantasy and the arts accessible outside of a single weekend. They also give new folks a gentle, welcoming way to step into the world of the festival.
Fantasy isn’t just a destination — it’s an ongoing story.
💫 Why This Matters
At its heart, the Front Range Fantasy Festival exists because we believe something very simple and very radical:
Fantasy is for everyone.
Arts experiences shouldn’t be limited by geography, income, or access. Through immersive storytelling and community-centered events, we’re creating spaces where imagination, play, and creativity belong to everyone — families, young adults, lifelong readers, and people who’ve always wished they could step inside the worlds they love.
🛠 A Note About Our Website
You may notice that our website will be under construction for a little while as we update content to reflect our expanded programming, nonprofit structure, and 2026 festival plans.
For now, the Front Range Fantasy Festival website will continue to be hosted through Larkspur Events, which has supported this project from the very beginning. In the future, we plan to launch a dedicated Front Range Fantasy Festival website as the organization continues to grow.
During this transition:
Some pages may look incomplete or change over time
Information will be added in stages
New features and resources will roll out gradually
If you’re looking for information that isn’t visible yet, or want to connect about sponsorships, partnerships, or volunteering, please don’t hesitate to reach out directly.
